Eco-Rx Announces that its RX-400 Air Purifier will kill airborne Tuberculosis

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL--(MARKET WIRE)-June 5, 2007 -- Eco-Rx (Other OTC: ERXX.PK - News), producer of proprietary air purification products, said today that its model RX 400 air purifier has the capability of killing airborne Tuberculosis (TB). TB is a bacterial agent which is annually responsible for the deaths of over a million and a half people worldwide.

The RX 400, which received a Class II medical device listing from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, purifies the air by drawing contaminants into its sealed chamber and exposing the bacteria to high powered UV-C. The recent highly publicized case of a TB carrier who exposed airline passengers and others while traveling is an example of how serious a threat TB and other bacteria can be when an enclosed space is left untreated.

Paul Taccini, President of Eco-Rx, commented that "the Company will be contacting airlines and other modes of public transportation to make them aware of the RX 400's ability to kill over 99% of airborne bacterial agents on a "first" pass basis. We also intend to recommend use of the Rx 400 in waiting rooms and clubs."

Mr. Taccini continued, "We see a tremendous need for our products, which utilize this patented technology. This translates into a huge market opportunity for the Company. If one considers the bacterial danger posed to humans in hospitals, offices, hotels, restaurants, theaters, schools and stores where you can have large numbers of people in an enclosed area, it's not inconceivable that the demand for Eco-Rx's products will be positively impacted. Eco-Rx is positioned to pursue an aggressive campaign with institutions, hotels, commercial venues and public transportation to help them resolve these airborne threats."

There are several benefits that accrue to Eco-Rx for having certification as an FDA Class II medical device. Certification lends credibility to the technology in the health care field. It increases credibility in the consumer markets and it separates our product from non-certified air purifiers, enhancing overall marketing and sales opportunities.
